amusea Posted April 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2019 I will be sailing on Explorer in January 2020 from Miami and then in November 2020 from Barcelona. Does Regent have any provision for storing a small package on the ship between cruises? It would be mostly shoes which take up so much room, especially since I prefer to only travel with a rollaboard and a backpack. If the package were to disappear I would be willing to sign something indicating that the cruise line was not responsible.
Travelcat2 Posted April 29, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2019 I do not think that this is possible. Just received an email from a cruising friend that will be on Splendor from San Diego to New York - stopping in Miami where they need to get off of the ship for two days so that travel agents can board and see the new ship. He was told that, due to security issues, nothing can be left on the ship. Obviously, this is frustrating but it is what it is.
Hambagahle Posted April 29, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2019 Plus - that is like expecting Regent to store something for you for almost an entire year. And there is potentia Spanish Customs issue too...
UUNetBill Posted April 29, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2019 Depending on the length of your cruise and the amount of luggage you'll need, you might want to look into a luggage forwarding service. Kind of pricey but it will take care of the excess shoe storage issue for you. Just a thought.
