Requested a wedge pillow and was denied

Yes, that was me that requested one for my DH and they even asked for the size needed.  It was perfect!!  We were trying to pack light but if they couldn't get one for us, we were going to take an inflatable one instead.  They aren't that expensive and pack up pretty small but with the little pump, it takes quite a bit of time to blow up.  In the past, we've had suggestions to use a life jacket ... now, that doesn't sound like the safest option but it's easy enough to retrieve it, that is, if you even have time to go to your cabin to retrieve it in case of an emergency.

The wedge that they provided for us was on the Royal.  It was perfect .... the room steward even put it under the mattress where it makes most sense.  I actually ordered it within a week of my sailing and wasn't sure if it would be available in time but it was.

Our next sailing is on the Grand so will be sure to have that inflatable option readily available in case they deny us, too.
