fatpug Posted May 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2019 We are considering a January cruise. How cool or cold is it on the deck and balconies during the evenings from LA to Cabo?
CruiserBruce Posted May 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2019 It will be on the cooler (50s-60s) side for the first 36 or so hours. Warming as you approach Cabo.

We have an aft balcony, leaving on February 1. That sounds about ideal for us Michiganders and what we will be coming from.
drjpreston Posted May 9, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2019 Sea can be a little rough the first day or possibly 2 going south as well that time of the year. We have made that trip many times. It seems to be worse going west toward Hawaii but about 50% of our trips south in January have started a little rough. If you tend to get sea sick, try taking some meds the morning before leaving port to let your body adjust to it. Take another pill before you go to bed. Often you will be OK after 1st night. Everyone has their own remedy. Do what works for you. 50s - 60s to begin with sounds about right. The farther south you go the warmer it usually gets.
