Comic Sans MS, a polite request

Unfortunately, since the change to the forum last year, this font can be difficult to read on some mobile devices.

 

To ensure legibility for all users, can you please choose another font.

Also a contrasting colour, i.e. black, makes It easier for those of us who cannot see very well.

Just to make sure we are clear on this issue, here is what text in the "Comic Sans MS" font looks like when rendered in a desktop Windows browser. Quite readable.

 

On the other hand, here is what that same text in the "Comic Sans MS" font looks like when rendered in browsers on many iOS and Android devices. As you can see, it is converted to a script font that is not nearly as readable on those platforms.

 

As Host Hattie indicated, this issue was introduced when Cruise Critic converted to the new Invision Community software last year. It has been discussed in some length on the "Need Help Using the Forums?" forum and solutions have been proposed, but so far it remains unresolved. For now, the best bet to ensure your posts are easily readable by the largest possible audience is to avoid using the "Comic Sans MS" font in your posts.

This being the Cunard forum, Comic Sans is not appropriate :). I did wonder whether there might be a font called Tuxedo - there is, but it's not to my taste.
