Can Elite Status Begin in the Middle of a BTB cruise

My wife and I will have completed 14 cruise credits when we board a 14 day cruise ( two back to back 7 days cruises.  This shows as a two credit future cruise.   Therefore we will complete our 15th cruise credit after the first 7 day cruise of the BTB.  Will we then receive Elite benefits for the second 7 days of the back to back cruise?  This is on the Regal Princess with back to back 7 day Eastern Caribbean immediately followed by the 7 day Western Caribbean.

Short answer is YES! Be sure to let the Captain's Circle Host know when you're on the first leg.

Sometime in the middle of the first cruise speak to Captain's Circle representative on the ship, otherwise the paperwork probably won't be ready. We were in a similar situation, but were changing ships. The first CC rep called the second one.

Agree!  We booked the same thing this spring and specifically booked two legs separately.  It worked fine for us - we did not need to notify anyone, (although we did make sure our cabin steward knew) and, sure enough, our mini-bar showed up for leg two.  

 

They DID, however, seem to know that we would not get our liquor purchase delivered to our cabin at the end of leg 1 as some people had been able to do in bygone days.  They managed to solve that little "flaw" in their system.  Sigh.

There's still a way to get around it.
