what's your favorite Carnival port for departure?

Yes, we have plenty of snow in Colorado, especially this year. We will only sail out of warm weather ports. New Orleans is the only acception, as we have had some cool departures, but NOLA is awesome.

We've cruised out of Miami, Long Beach, Port Everglades, and Port Canaveral and they've all been great.

NOLA. Great place to arrive to early and from there you begin your vacation with a river cruise.

We like Port Canaveral because we like staying at the Radisson at the Port.  As for the terminals, they are all the same to us.  The only one we didn't like was Tampa.  We are use to having the baggage handlers lined up by the drop off points.  There, they are walking around with a cart and you didn't know if they were helping the ones getting off of the ship or the ones coming on.

If I had to choose one it would be Venice, Italy. 😀 In the Caribbean it would be San Juan.

For ease, I would have to say Canaveral.  Even though FLL and Miami are closer.  The traffic going south of West Palm is definitely worse than going north of West Palm.  

 

For harbor, it would be Sydney and NYC.  Both are beautiful to sail in and out of.  NYC is an absolute pain to travel in and out of for us though.
