Is RCCL Price Match only good for 48 hours?

If I book a cruise with RCCL, and then see it offered at a lower price, I thought I saw RCCL only will lower the price within 48 hours of booking.  Is that true? 

 

If not, what is the rule?

 

I know Carnival has definitely honored better prices in the past with me.  Just curious as it's been about 8 years since I sailed with RCCL.

The 48 hour price match really only comes in to play after final payment. If you book after final payment and find a lower price, within 48 hours Royal Caribbean will give it to you. 

 

Prior to final payment, they will adjust your price (usually) whenever it goes down. Here is their Best Price Guarantee:

Thanks.  I saw on the FAQ it said 48 hours after deposit which is why i was confused.
