The laundromats on the ships work really well. Perfect activity on those sea days!Also, they have plenty of ironing boards for freshening up clothes wrinkled in transit.

 

A lot of people ask about laundry service which takes a couple of days. A quick walk down the hall and a couple hours will get the job done in a fraction of time. 

 

Doing a little laundry can reduce packing load. We do it on that last sea day of a cruise so when we get home we are not lugging a bunch of dirty clothes with us.

To each his own, but we never do our laundry on a cruise ship.  That is not why we cruise.  Easy for us to send it out and have the ship's laundry do it.  But, everyone is different.😃

Almost all Princess ships have a laundry room on each deck (there are exceptions). They usually alternate between forward & aft.

Check the deck plans for the one near your cabin.

I avoid doing laundry on sea days, always packed. Best time seems to be late afternoon, before heading to dinner.
