aksmusic Posted May 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2019 Hello My husband and I are considering taking an Eastern Caribbean 10 day cruise on the Explorer. We are thinking about an F2 or F1 cabin depending on location. The ship is almost sold out for this particular cruise, and we aren’t interested in Western Caribbean and want to try the Explorer l. Here are the choices F2 forward cabins only on deck seven-705, 708, 709 F1 two available on deck 7 both mid ship -732, 733 F1 below pool deck on deck 10- 1020, 1018, 1021 or 1023 can anyone offer insight into any of these cabins and their location? Noise, etc thank you!
Travelcat2 Posted May 29, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2019 Agree that you would not want to be under the pool deck. We have sailed on Explorer several times and feel that deck 7 - either forward or midship should be fine. Enjoy your Explorer cruise (she is our favorite ship)! flossie009 Posted May 29, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2019 (edited) Another vote for Deck 7 in preference to 10. Try the resource SuiteGuru in the “sticky” for reviews of suites in similar locations. Have a great cruise 😎 PS: If this is your first Regent cruise, you might consider moving up to Concierge grade, D or E, to obtain earlier excursion & dining bookings; plus take a look at the Ambassador Programme. elisebev Posted May 29, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 29, 2019 We were just on the explorer a couple of weeks ago. We had cabins 1014 and 1016. Occasionally there was noise from the pool deck but it was very minimal. Guess it depends on your itinerary. Our Itinerary was port intensive so we were up and out early most days. We have booked deck 10 again next year on the Splendor

As a followup to Flossie009 there is also a sticky entitled "member referral credit" which would also be helpful if it is your first cruise. Enjoy!
