LIVE on the Escape to Bermuda!

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the lack of posts. Everytime I try to upload photos here in Bermuda it just chews through my battery.

The cell service on Bermuda isn't very good, maybe 2 or 3 G speeds at times.

I will still do my full review when I get some decent service and it doesn't take 10 minutes to upload 1 photo.

No Worries,

This is your vacation and should not be concerned keeping all of us jealous folks entertained until we get to cruise.

Beautiful St. Georges.

So we had 45 minutes to do whatever we wanted on our excursion stop here. We ate then I was running around to get these great shots. Even caught the dunking reenactment.

Which is when a women would gossip about anything.

Beautiful Hamilton.

They gave us a ferry ticket to get back. Lots of shopping here if you're into that. Bring lots of $$$. It's expensive in Bermuda.

Gas is $9/gal

Half gallon of milk $6

Loaf of bread $4

Case of beer $25

Cigarette pack $15

All I could remember from the amount I drank this week.

Day 1 evening excursion...

Bermuda triangle cruise.

My review... you see nothing but a shipwreck. It was cold at night. You get 1 free drink, cash bar for the rest. I wouldn't bother with it. We saw fish from the glass bottom. Nothing special.

I didn't even take pictures of the shipwreck, because it's the skeleton of a ship now, iron sticking out of the water. The below view is nothing... just coral.

After our excursion we hit up calico Jack's bar.

We didn't have a good experience here, girls acting wild and dancing on poles, the staff staring you down, other people acting crazy and talking !@$ about us. I would go to frog and onion pub or the bone fish bar before Jack's. Premade drinks here for $8...c'mon!  I get free premium drinks on my ship.

Btw.. that is a premade rum swizzle in the photo.

The music was so loud we could hear it inside the ship. My mom has hearing aids... she wanted to get the "f" out of there asap.

Day 2 started off with a beautiful view from my aft balcony on deck 13.

We did the horseshoe bay beach transfer excursion.

Here's the low down on this...

The beach is nice except the water was extremely cold, Portuguese man o ware are all over... which can sting you. The beach chair rentals for 2 loungers and an umbrella were $50. Drinks are $12 a piece, $35 for beer buckets. Food is anywhere from $7 for a hot dog to $ 16 for a combo, maybe more for seafood specialties

We had hot dogs, they were all beef, grilled.  Decent for $7. We had a variety of drinks between the 3 of us.

Swizzle large $11

Mojito $12

Sex on horseshoe beach $12

Category 5 $15

After horseshoe bay beach we hit up spice H20. It was 18+ in there, 2 hot tubs, a bar and the grotto!

Completely empty for the most part. Just wear sandals, the ground was hot as you know what!

The grotto was awesome! Rainfalls, water up to your ankle and it was a refreshing vibe! Check it out.. it's a must!!!

Heads up CC...

We found a few locations that accepted Discover card. None in the dockyard.

The Gibbs lighthouse did accept it. Visa and Mastercard are accepted everywhere.  American Express was hit or miss, just like discover.
