cheffip Posted June 2, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2019 It’s been a couple of years since I cruised but I’m assuming there are still offers when you board to buy a package for the different specialty restaurants? What are the prices and is there any strategy to get the best deal?
jelayne Posted June 2, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2019 You can book the 1st night in a speciality restaurant at a discount . Murano $35 vs $50, Tuscan $30 vs $45. Check your Cruise Planner to book.
Rare keesar Posted June 3, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2019 In addition to the first night discount, you should be able to negotiate a good deal when the ship is in port. An example would be when a ship visits San Juan. Very good deals were available that night. Better than first night ones.

It a deal to be found when we were in SJ in January.
Rare DENIE Posted June 3, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 3, 2019 We got Murano for $35 the first night in November 2018. This was obtained by stopping at one of the dining tables set up as you board the ship. The next to last night, we got either $10-$15 off to dine in the Lawn Club Grill. This was obtained near the end of the cruise as we were approached while just inside the entrance to the buffet. It was very worth it, to us, as the food was delicious. Just have to be open to those who approach you...

On our Alaska cruise, we received a 30% discount the first night. Thereafter, no discounts were to be found as there were two large groups that had booked the Specialty Restaurants. On one night, they were all closed for one of the groups.
