10% discount on excursion?

I just booked an Oceanview villa at Great Stirrup Cay and for some reason there was a 10% discount on the Villa. I have a $50 credit excursion at each port but this was not it, and they say I will get that $50 credit in my onboard account when I board so I am not sure why I got 10% off... NOT COMPLAINING LOL but curious as to why. I will probably call tomorrow and ask but figured I would ask the experts here if there is a logical reason. I have a suite if that makes any difference.

That is not true.  The $50 credit for Shore Excursions is credited to your account during the evening AFTER you have done the excursion.

Thanks for this info. I believe the recording said that if you purchased an excursion , it will be on your account when you board. I probably heard it wrong. thanks for the info. it makes more sense
