Symphony of the Seas - mini fridge FREEZER

Wondering if anybody knows if the Symphony in cabin mini fridges have  a freezer in them??? We are traveling with our 2 toddlers and wanted to freeze up our reusable ice packs to keep in our coolers while out on the islands. 

 

If no in cabin freezer - is there a way for us to get a bag full of ice cubes other than from the cabin steward?

No freezer - hardly keeps soda cool 🙄

Cabin steward is the general way to get ice cubes.  I suppose you could ask a bartender if that is preferable for some reason.

 

20+ years on RCCL have never seen a freezer in the room.

 

Many excursions have cold water/soda etc.  If in town or at a beach, etc. there are places that sell cold beverages.  Seems easier than lugging around a cooler......

Ice packs will be useless as there is no way to freeze them. Bring some freezer bags. You can get ice from any bar or a freestyle machine.

Room service will also deliver a container with ice.

We take a cooler with us and our cabin person keeps it full of ice for us all the time!
