DebOinKC Posted June 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2019 I see a lot of post on here about CPAP machines, but I need to know if anyone has taken their nebulizer machine with them on a cruise. Mine plugs into an outlet is a little loud. Also do you carry on or in checked luggage and what issues have you run into?
dixieva Posted June 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2019 I cruise with mine all the time. Never had a problem. I wouldn't pack it in a checked bag. Always carry it on.
Schoifmom Posted June 11, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2019 ALWAYS carry on anything medical. Prescription medications, Cpap machines, nebulizers, insulin, you name it. If you couldn't do without it for a week, don't let it out of your control. As far as your nebulizer is concerned, there are no issues with it on board. You may wish to carry an extension cord and/or power strip (no surge protector) if you will be plugging in multiple items.
Host Carolyn Posted June 11, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2019 Most of the comments regarding carrying medical equipment on the CPAP thread would also apply to a nebulizer
