japan Cruise on Diamond Princess

My wife and I will be taking a cruise around Japan next June on Diamond Princess. My hope is that Japanese cuisine shows up somewhat on the ship's menus. Does anyone know if this is the case?

YES!! Make your own sushi in buffet (I can roll my own, if you cannot the tourist office in Akida teaches you how) + ramen (not that cheap stuff we ate as students) + udon and all the rest. Both in the buffet, MDR, and personally missing Kai Sushi (specialty restaurant).

We were on the Diamond last August.  In the dining room, they had the full left hand side of the menu with Japanese dishes.  About 8 offerings.  We tried several and really enjoyed them.  The great thing is if you don't like the dish, just ask for something else.
