Help!! with cabin choice

Just booked a cruise from Southhampton - 12 day Regal Princess.  They will assign the cabin.  What is the difference between a DD and a DE deluxe balcony?

I am assuming both the DD and the DE are deluxe balconies?

The difference is location.

I thought so as well.  Looking at the same cruise on a BIG travel site and the price goes up.  Also they are offering a lower deposit - refundable - and $500 OBC

The deluxe balcony cabins have a small sofa whereas the regular balcony cabins do not.
