Shipboard Activities When in Port?

Hi,

First thanks for all the regular posts, as a first time cruiser I have learned a lot and am impressed with the wealth of information.

Question- what types of activities are available on the Ship while it is in port, are there things you can take advantage of with less passengers on board?

First Cruise 3/13 Carnival Fascination 4-Day Western Carib.

A coupla times, I have stayed on the ship at ports I've been to several times. I take full advantage of the almost empty decks. I enjoy the hot tub by myself, actually get to "swim" in the pool, and having my choice of sun worshipping areas! Nice, quiet, and relaxing, so I don't know if there are 'activities' going on or not.:)
