Movies shown in the cabin

On Serenade (11 nights Southern Caribbean) in November, 2-3 movies were shown each day in the cabin. This was in addition to the movies in the indoor theatre and outside on the large screen.

Are all ships showing movies in the cabin?

Unlikely, I think the Radiance class have that quirk because of the dedicated theatre.

Those ships on which we have cruised that had interactive TV also had pay per view movies.

These were relatively newer movies which did not incur an extra fee. When I sailed November 2018, all the movies shown in the cabin were released in 2018.

And on Vision no ppv movies at all...not that I would have paid $11.99 for them....So glad our Firestick worked.

 

TV options on Vision were the worst we've experienced.

If you watch RCI tv enough you will be singing "wash your hand" for months after your cruise.

Sailed Serenade 16 times last few yrs. One sailing has free newer movies, next one doesnt. Most time hasnt had in room Free. Never plan on it then suprized when they do. Was on in Nov the whole month, agree was available that month. Like with Luggage Valet. Half yrs was available, half not.

We just finished Allure of the Seas.  We have an Autistic son.  We had hoped for some decent TV for him to view at night------------to say the TV programming is terrible is an understatement.  We sure tried to learn the sport of Cricket---it was on nonstop LOL
