What's the best way to get to Spittal Pond from the Dockyard? 

 

I know a ferry has to be involved...do you the need to also use a bus?

Verdmont/Spittal Pond - about 20 minutes out from Hamiltonon on South Road.

Just tell the driver where you want to get off, or ask a local rider.

I'd suggest greeting the bus driver with a "good morning" or "good afternoon", as appropriate, when boarding the bus (years ago everyone did this...much less so today) and then asking to be notified when the bus reaches the stop for Spittal Pond.
