Family Dining Question

We are a family or seven (three generations) sailing on Sunshine in a couple of weeks.  We have early dining.  I assumed that we will be seated with just our family, but I've read some threads that indicate we might be seated with another family with children.  Is that likely to happen?  Should I request ahead of time that we have a table of our own?

Assuming your bookings/cabins are linked, I would think your family will have their own table.  Seven would nicely fill an 8 top table and I doubt they would even add to a 10 top.

You can always try emailing the maitre d about a week before your cruise to specifically request your own table. Or go on embarkation day. However, as pacruise804 posted, I would also expect you would have your own table anyway as long as your bookings are linked.

Thanks to both of you.  I'll probably just check when we board and request a change then, if needed.

I would at least call now and make sure you are all linked. That way you will already be at a table together.

Our reservations are definitely linked.  I was just concerned about being seated with other passengers outside our family.
