Would really appreciate recommendation for hotel for overnight stay next weekend.

Want to avoid traffic chaos in Southampton due to closure of Redbridge roundabout.

Arcadia leaves QE11 terminal next Saturday. Would therefore prefer hotel to be

sited east of Dock gate 4.  Am thinking towns such as Fareham? Don’t know the

area so would really welcome advice.

Meon Valley hotel is 10 miles away and offer a very reasonable cruise and stay package which includes BB,parking for cruise duration, taxi to port and taxi back to hotel to collect your car post cruise.

Hope you have a fantastic cruise

Anything south of the M27 will be fine as traffic coming in is the issue. Once in town, everything runs as normal.

If you do want to stay East of Southampton, the Navigator at Swanwick is about half an hour and £20ish taxi fare.

Have a great time,

Andy

We stay a Chilworth Manor. We  have BB and EM, cruise park and ride.

We have met people who just stay overnight and drive to the dock, it’s only about 15/20 minutes or so.

Chilworth Manor is perfect under normal circumstances, but with the road closures, it is in the wrong place and could be difficult to get to.
