probably more to see in Venice than in Tampa 😉

There's plenty to see in Tampa, or nearby St. Pete.  Aquarium, Dali Museum, Tampa History Center, Ybor, Busch Gardens, the list goes on.

RCL brilliance of the seas out of Tampa

We have done several back to back cruises out of Tampa, and  a few on Brilliance.  You will receive a letter late in the week explaining the process to you. Generally, we will meet at a designated lounge about 9:30 on turn around morning. Once the ship clears you’ll be escorted off either to wait for a few minutes in the terminal and be escorted back on or, to turn around and walk back on. We’ve had it both ways.

But to answer your question, we did have to  physically get off the ship  for Tampa and every other US back to back port from which we’ve sailed
