Bringing own case onboard in Southampton

I agree.  I think the 4 wheelers are fine for flat surfaces - like in an airport, but if you are walking in towns with luggage, up and down pavements, two wheels are best.

Our flight back to Newcastle in May from Southampton was 3.20pm so we spent 3 hours in West Quay shopping centre and the 4 wheels on our cases was a godsend.

I hold my arms by my side while holding the case handles and our cases just slide along easily.

It is only over carpets where it is not easy with 4 wheels but fortunately I am capable of carrying our cases when necessary.
