Taking a cruise in February and have to book the flights.  I couldn't find anywhere on Carnival's site saying what time the flight should be.  Suggestions? Would noon be late enough?

We're taking our first cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale in January.  Looking at Google Maps the cruise port is about 10 minutes away from the airport.  Our flight is scheduled to depart at 11:40.  This makes me a little nervous but all the other flight options were late afternoon.  Hopefully there won't be any delays!

11:40/noon flights should be fine, especially if you do self disembark and carry your own luggage off.  Carnival transfers require a flight time of noon, and they are understandably conservative about flight times.  Enjoy your cruises!

Transfer Details

Transfer from Port Everglades to the Ft. Lauderdale Airport (FLL) - earliest acceptable flight departure time is 12:00pm.

Unused transfer services are non-refundable. Transfers operate on the day of embarkation or debarkation only. Guests will be required to provide flight information via Online Check-In when purchasing transfers. If flight details are updated by the airline, it is the responsibility of the guest to record the change/update in Online Check-In. Carnival is not responsible to provide transfers for guests who schedule flights outside of the service times or provide incorrect flight information. The vehicle operator is an independent contractor. Carnival assumes no liability for losses, damages or injuries in connection with the use of the operator. Carnival reserves the right to discontinue transfer service at anytime. Prices and acceptable flight times are subject to change without notice.

I've only been out of the port area after 9am once. That was back in May when they closed the gangway for over an hour and wasn't letting people off. Even then, our Uber picked us up by 9:15 and we were on our way out. You should be fine, barring any late arrivals back to the port. We didn't carry our own luggage off either. We always have FTTF and was zone 2 to debark. We debarked the ship, got our luggage, went through customs, grabbed an Uber and off we went.
