KONA COFFEE?

We will make a short visit to Kona next week on the POA. We are wanting to purchase bags of Kona Coffee beans to ship home. We want 100% Kona coffee....not a blend. We will be limited on time and transportation. Is there a store/outlet in the Kona cruise ship area? Thanks!

Ideally you'd like to go to a farm and taste the coffee and have the whole experience, but if thats not an option there are a ton of little souvenir shops that all sell 100% Kona right there in Kailua. I would just go to the ABC Store right by the pier for a non nonsense shopping experience. Of course theres nothing you can get there that you cant just have Amazon send you these days for pretty much the same price in case you don't want to lug it home.

Kona Coffee & Tea is just under a 1/2 mile from the pier, Island Lava Java is south of the pier maybe 1/2 a mile, Starbucks is a little closer, and I'd be willing to bet that even Long's Drug might have 100% Kona Coffee.

We went to a couple of different coffee farms in Kona and bought their bags of 100% Kona coffee.  We also saw that Longs were selling 100% coffee.

Thanks for the ideas! We just ordered 100% Kona Coffee from their website and got free shipping with the large order. So.....the coffee should be waiting on us when we get home and we'll pretend we bought it right from the plantation!!

That is a great idea to have it waiting when you get home.  I didn't know that Long's shipped.

Also, there is a good Costco in Kona that sells coffee and other Hawaiian souvenirs and shirts.  Cherie
