Seaside - Balcony Location prefer ?

Location will always in my mind be on the bulge midships part of the ship on the seaside if you look down from the balcony on any part it will  look down on to the promenade unless you are above the extended balconies as its design makes it that way

I was thinking about this this morning.  Every picture of the Seaside docked in port shows the starboard side dockside.  I'm thinking that the next time I book a balcony it will be on the port side.  That way while at dock you can sit on your balcony and watch the harbor.

We were docked port side in Cozumel (although we were bumped down to Puerto Maya rather then Punta Langosta).  In Ocho Rios we were docked starboard side.  Costa Maya was port side to land, perpendicular to NCL ship:
