Can you still not buy the internet package ahead of your cruise to save money and apply your Diamond Plus discount ?

Correct, the C&A discounts can only be applied to onboard purchases.

Has Royal Caribbean raised the price for Internet?  I'm seeing some odd prices online for future cruises which when doing the math seems like Surf & Stream is now more then $19.99 a day?

 

One cruise is $15.39 a day with 30% off, another one is $15.99 a day with 20% off both the same plan?  

 

Plus it would be really nice to get this discount in advance.

Ignore the %off and RCI math. No change in VOOM price.

Royal can change (and does) change pricing all the time.  It might not happen to internet pricing as much as other items, but it has happened in the past.

It is usually cheaper if bought in a package with the deluxe beverage package

At this late date, close to zero. 6-8 months out I can usually get it for $11.99. Then it slowly creeps up in price.

On a cruise of mine which embarks in 2 weeks, the Deluxe Beverage Package is $44.

 

Deluxe + VOOM is $54.
