How to Get Into Porto From the Ship?

We are visiting Porto (Portugal) but haven't yet booked an excursion.  Anyone visited and know whether there is a shuttle bus available from the port into the city?  Or will we have to depend on taxis?  Any info will be very helpful - thanks.

We were there a few years ago the Hop on Hop off came right to the ship .

Every cruise line could be different, suggest asking on the Board for your cruise line.

We were there many years ago, can't recall which cruise line, maybe Princess or old Royal Cruise ilne... whichever line did provide a shuttle to center of town, which we took and enjoyed exploring on our own.
