Tamarind N Statendam help?

Hi I am a new cruiser with Holland America  and would like to know if when dining at the Tamarind  what the the $25 flat rate covers ?

Is it 1 appetiser, 1 entree and 1 dessert? Or are you able to try more than 1 dish in each category?

You are able to get as many appetizers, soups, side dishes, and desserts as you like.

 

But only 1 entree.  If you want a second one, you will be charged for it.  I don't know the cost of the extra charge as neither of us could eat that much food.

OP,  I would be very surprised if you could need and or eat a second entree in the Tamarind.  Their portions are generous.  Even my DH who loves food and can eat a lot, is well satisfied after a Tamarind dinner.  We eat at the Tamarind frequently, and ordering one selection from each course has always been plenty for us.

lol thank you I was thinking more that  more than one of the appetisers were appealing ...I doubt i would eat more than 1 entree but might prefer  2 appetisers then skip to dessert

Tamarind is my favorite of any cruise line specialty restaurants. We often do it more than one night and do not waste our money on the Pinnacle Grill. The wasabi crusted tenderloin in Tamarind is by far better than any steak in the PG.

oooh  sounds wonderful  a definite booking ...PG was a bonus from TA so new to me but the Tamarind sounds fabulous

The Tamarind is very good, but we think Rudi’s Is much better.
