selecting a cabana

I have booked a cabana at Half Moon Cay.  Do I still have to wait to select the cabana number when I board? And is it guest services or the shore excursion desk that I go to?

Yes, when you board go to the excursion desk and they will assign you one

You get to pick which own you want. They don’t assign it to you.

I said it poorly, yes you get to pick what is available when you are there.

They are different, both good, HMC is superior

I guess I didn’t word my question well.  Do I pick a cabana on the ship or wait until I arrive in port?

Only went to Amber cove once, there were different types of cabanas, and you can pick the type, but they will take you to one of your type, you do not select it.

You will pick your Cabana on the ship.

How many cabanas are there? Are the locations different in any way? I'm thinking that some might be quieter while others are closer to food/restrooms but would be louder. I'm not sure if I'm going to book one or not, but would like an idea of which one to try and pick if I do rent one. Thanks!

There is a chart somewhere here, but there are two types regular and double deckers.  I think 16 in total the higher number are farther out and more quiet.
