Lolou127 Posted September 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2019 I’m assuming this selection means that Celebrity assign your cabin near to your cruise date, but there don’t seem to be very many SS2 cabins on the Constellation so you can’t really get a bad spot, other than some have views over the lifeboats? Am I right here or missing something? Tia
jelayne Posted September 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2019 We have only stayed in SS2 on Deck 6 and the views are partially obstructed. There are some accessible SS2 on decks 8 & 9 so there is a reasonable possibility you could be assigned to one if those.
Lolou127 Posted September 14, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted September 14, 2019 Thank you, I wasn’t aware of the accessible cabins being on different decks
Northern Aurora Posted September 14, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2019 Lolou: We have done guarantee suites twice, and both times were assigned to the accessible Sky Suites on decks 8 and 9. The bathrooms have accessible showers (no tubs), and the room is larger than a standard size SS2. Even though one time the stateroom was right beside the elevator, there was absolutely no noise. wrk2cruise Posted September 15, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 15, 2019 We had same experience of Northern Aurora where we were assigned accessible sky suite on deck 8 adjacent to the elevators. Wonderful location and no noise from the elevators. I'd have no hesitation for booking a GTY suite on the "M" class ships.
