Beaches in St. Lucia

We are a family of 7 going to be in St. Lucia on Christmas Day with a cruise. Not liking what they are offering so wondering was is the best beach to go to. ages of 

children 23, 22, 21, 19 and 17.  Being it Christmas day not sure what tours outside the cruise would be available also. Thank you for all your help.

That's a tough one. A lot of places will be closed Christmas day, so a tour can be a very good idea 

If beach is all you want, your best bet is Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay. Long stretch if beach, watersports for hire for the "kids" or yourselves if you want some action, restaurants and bars around the area. 

Vigie is closer, but lots of the outlets in the boardwalk will be closed, and there's no watersports.  

Taxi will run around $40 or so for your group one way to Reduit
