OBC and daily service charge?

I am new to NCL and got an OBC due to a significant price drop on my cabin. Can I use the OBC towards the daily service charge?

No that is what NCL considers non refundable ( ie gift from them lol) and not able to be used for DSC

You can only use REFUNDABLE OBC to pay for DSC. Most OBC is non-refundable.

Word of warning.....if you check you onboard account on your TV, DO NOT accept what you see. We had $200 OBC and it appeared our DSC was coming off this. Everyday it showed balance taken off OBC. SO.......

We did not spend on onboard and when we woke up morning of disembarkation....Total balance due from DSC and showed OBC as unused.  account closed and could not use it on anything.

Would have spent it if I had known this would happen.  So  remember it can be used to give extra tips to waiters in specialty restaurants etc.
