Lisbon segway tours

Probably best to book in advance as it is very, very popular.

 

The tour we did was really enjoyable as it takes you through the main areas but also the narrow back streets to see real city life and up to the top for panoramic views. You could walk up there but it steep and the Segway zips up in no time.

 

Check that your travel insurance covers you for this activity as some don’t

We have done Segway tours in various cities and it is a great way to get to see a large area without sitting in a bus in the heat. You also get up closer to see the sites.

 

You get the hang of it in no time as they are easy to use. Wear flat shoes with a bit of padding. Have fun.

First time we did the 'super tour', second time the Belem tour. Both brilliant and superb way to see this hilly city. You can walk to the 'shop' in about 20-30 mins or of course, grab a cab.
