How soon after thanksgiving do they decorate the ships?

I’m headed out on the Escape two days after thanksgiving. Do you think the ship will be decorated by then?

Since Thanksgiving is very late this year, I would during your cruise they will be working on getting decorated.

I am on the same cruise. I didn't even think about the chance that they would be decorated.. I really hope it is. 🎄

Sailed last year on Bliss. Left Saturday after Thanksgiving but it was early 11/24. No decorations. Disembarked 12/1. Everything was going up as we were standing in line to get off.

We sailed the Breakaway a couple of years ago the first week in December and decorations were up.

I'm sailing Dec 8-15 and I never considered the ship would be decorated for Christmas!  How fun!

Sailed Getaway the Sunday after Thanksgiving last year, and it was decorated.

Was on the Jade a few years ago during first week of Dec.  Were decorating during that week.

Our experience  has always been the sailing after Thanksgiving, but I am sure this changes from ship to ship. Some do not do as much as in years past due to being PC. I remember one year about 8 or 9 years ago HAL had a nativity scene up when we boarded the ship. The next day it was gone. We heard and it was simply hear say, they removed it because of complaints from those of other religions or no religion at all. Even holiday, non religious decorations are kept down these days.
