Twin bed configuration on Ruby or Emerald Princess in Balcony Room

Has anybody used the twin bed configuration in a Balcony Room on either of these ships?  Looking at the floor plan, it looks like there would be little to no room between the beds when separated - unless the end tables are stored away somewhere.  I will have older children in these rooms, and want to make sure there is actually a decent amount of distance between the beds.

I haven't been on either of those ships yet, but can offer a suggestion that we've done successfully on most other Princess ships.  You can easily pull the twin beds out from the (headboard) wall, move both night tables together so they are between the two beds, then push the beds back against the wall.  This gives you more space between the two beds.  One caveat - we were recently on the Golden Princess and could not do this as the one night table was somehow attached to the end of the desk.

When the beds are split the one closest to the dressing table remains in place just as shown in the diagram. The other bed is moved against the wall. The night stand which is shown in the diagram as against the wall is placed between the two beds. The foam which is used in filling the gap in the queen bed is stored under the beds. The distance between the two beds is the width of the night stand, maybe 18 inches, enough to place your feet down, stand, walk and access anything stored under the bed. The night stand between the beds has two storage drawers, a light and some top space to place items like glasses, hand cream, nail file, book. Very handy and not in anyone's way.
