Can we switch rooms onboard?

On an upcoming Harmony cruise our family has four cabins booked with two different TAs (long, complicated story). Once we get onboard, will they allow us to switch cabins with each other? There are two cabins side-by-side that would be better utilized (for babysitting, etc.) by the two families who are in separate cabins on a different decks. Hope that is clear as mud. 🙂

Yes you can.  They don't really care what cabin you sleep in.  Just go to guest services and get the cards switched so the accounts are correct and for room access.

They will still require that someone 21 and up be listed in each room. We have actually never had much success switching names on the rooms, but we’ve had no issue getting extra keys for each room and some people just have to carry around two cards. It’s not ideal, but solves the problem.

seems like it would be a hassle   to rearrange the accounts so that the people Bering serviced in Cabin A are paying the Gratuities for  Steward A,   among other considerations.

No prob;em with RCI's fantastic IT dept.

Sometimes they cannot (or will not) re-key the SeaPass cards and will just give you extra keys for those that want to switch staterooms.
