Later in the day in Aruba

We are in Aruba until midnight on our upcoming cruise. We are doing an excursion in the morning but was wondering if there is something worthwhile to do later in the day(4:00 pm) or in the evening?

We did an excursion in the morning, ate on the ship, and went to the beach, beach restaurant, and casino at what

is now the Hilton.  The taxi to Palm Beach was only $10 for 2 each way.

Dinner and drinks upstairs at Iguana Joe's with everybody else place will be packed, go have fun.

There has to be something other than a tourist bar at night. Where do the locals go?

Pick a casino close to your place. Stellaris at the MRT is okay, but pick ‘Em. Locals are all over.

We have casinos at home. Others have recommended Palm Beach, especially Paseo Herencia for the light show and restaurants. Maybe still a little touristy, but the Paseo looks interesting.

We got barbecue and went to the movies, which wasn't exactly exotic, but was definitely what locals were doing. (We also live overseas and so the ability to see a kids movie not dubbed into Hebrew was exciting to us. As was eating pulled pork... 🙂 )

Iguana Joe's is a people watching place.....you must get a table along the street. We are also there all day until late into the night and plan on spending a few hours people watching & having a drink.,
