I apologize in advance if this has been covered before, my time is limited on research. I need thoughts on Grand Turk vs Nassau. I am trying to decide between a cruise in December during Christmas for myself (53 y old female) and my very active 82 yr old Mother. I have been to Nassau and she has not. Neither of us have been to  Grand Turk. I’m a diver but she is not but she is willing to try snorkeling. The other ports are Princess Cay with Nassau and Half Moon Cay with Grand Turk. thank you in advance for the feedback

For sure our choice would be HMC with Grand Turk!

We find Grand Turk way more enjoyable than Nassau and  warmer than Nassau in the winter!

Nassau and Grand Turk are very different. The port area at Nassau is pretty massive and once you get outside of it you get hit with some of the most aggressive sales I've ever seen. Grand Turk is more relaxed, smaller, and has a free beach right by the port.

Ironically if you want a Grand experience then I suggest Nassau with a prebooked excursion but for some light relaxed fun Grand Turk is easy and practically free
