Balconies on Caribbean Princess

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone was on Caribbean Princess can tell me if the balconies are covered or not? We are mid-aft port side on the Aloha deck. Also, how is the AC inside the rooms? Since we are doing circle Caribbean I am not sure if it matters if we are portside or starboard for which side the sun faces. That seems to be the big factor in room temperatures. Thanks!

9ft. x 5 ft and fully covered.

There is a thermostat in each cabin that provides some control over the a/c. Since you are doing a 360 degree voyage you will get some sun and some shade every day, sometimes morning sun, sometimes afternoon. You can figure it out by the direction of the ship.

We have done the circle Caribbean. Typically you will have some hot days in all seasons. I would suggest that the balcony curtains be pulled during the afternoon if the sun is on that side and you are not in the room enjoying the view. It just makes the air conditioner more efficient.

How about on Dolphin (deck 9) are they covered there?

Dolphin deck side balconies are all mini suites, and not covered. There are 2 aft balcony cabins, not sure if they are covered or not, or partially. Emerald deck has covered side mini suites.
