Hard to believe those ominous-looking sharks were friendly!

I probably would not go so far as to say they were friendly, but they clearly did not care about us. It was a real privilege to swim among them.

melmar02 Posted October 26, 2019 #33 Share Posted October 26, 2019 We've looked for dolphins, but haven't seen any. When we left Galveston last month there were a ton of jellyfish around the ship during sail away, but the pictures didn't really turn out from the top deck. I just bought this book for my almost 3 year old niece It's been around forever, I'm almost 37, and I remember learning it at Girl Scout Camp back in the day... The group that did the new version just brought it back to life Back on topic though, I've only been on one cruise, out of Galveston, and there were so many dolphins! It was great ❤️ Edited October 27, 2019 by ashleyhaugh
Nado44 Posted October 27, 2019 Author #35 Share Posted October 27, 2019 I read somewhere years ago that someone saw a solitary chicken squawking on a floating wooden palette in the middle of the Atlantic or some other body of water.

minnie00 Posted October 28, 2019 #38 Share Posted October 28, 2019 I saw a pod of spinner dolphins while at sea off of Cozumel...but that was about 12 yrs ago. A Black tip shark once and then the usual flying fish...although we seem to se less of them this last couple years. Oh we saw giant jellyfish by the ship at Labadee as well...someone who was a diver said they were box jellyfish.
