Show Reservations

We have never been on NCL before (just about every other cruise line though!)  We will be on Bliss in February and would like to see Jersey Boys so trying to do a little planning...  We understand you have to make reservations - can this be done before embarkation (online/phone)?  Also, does anyone know what the show times are?  Knowing if there is one or two shows per evening and their times would help us plan our dining. Thanks!

yes you make reservations online. log into your myNCL account and go to the Explore and Plan page

online reservations opens up around 120 days in advance from sail date. if a time slot is not available, you might be make reservations onboard the ship using the kiosks by the elevators

Not to highjack this thread, but can anyone tell me how many opportunities will we have to see “Jersey Boys” on a six night cruise on the Bliss?  Is it shown every night?  I am just wondering how hard it is to get reservations.

Thanks!

I was on the Bliss in January. Jersey Boys played 2x a night for 2 nights so 4 shows total.  I was able to make reservations online ahead of time now problem.  I would for sure book online ahead of time.  The shows were all booked up by then end of the first day on the cruise. They did have a stand by line in case people didn't show up for their reservation.

Yes. 4 shows. The theater holds 876 guests. 4 x 876 = 3,500 total seats available. On a typical cruise, there will be 4300-4500 guests on board. Like the titanic, there are not enough seats for all of the passengers.

But, people don't show up, so you can get in standby (10 minutes before the show starts) and take whatever seats no one else wanted.
