swanhaven Posted November 8, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2019 Are there any regular balcony (non haven, suite etc) staterooms with king size beds? Thanks ahead all!
Rare All-ready2cruise Posted November 8, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2019 Balconies / Minisuites have queen beds which can be split. (Some Concierge and Haven suites have Kings. I know you mentioned no suites)

Thanks ahead all! All balcony rooms have two twin beds that can be pushed together. Nothing bigger.
timf2001 Posted November 9, 2019 #5 Share Posted November 9, 2019 Even though advertised as queen size beds, the ship beds do feel wider than the queen size bed I have at home. Not sure what the exact dimensions are.
Rare debenson0723 Posted November 9, 2019 #6 Share Posted November 9, 2019 Two twins make a king size bed. Twin beds are 39" wide, a standard king bed is 78" wide. 2 x 39 = 78. Can you tell I worked in a bedding department many years ago?? And I am not sure why the cruise lines always say 2 twins equal a queen...a queen bed is only 60" wide.
hallux Posted November 9, 2019 #7 Share Posted November 9, 2019 I was going to say - the bed in my balcony on the Bliss seemed to be MASSIVE compared to the double I slept in at the hotel the night before the cruise, much larger than the Queen I'm used to at home... hallux Posted November 9, 2019 #9 Share Posted November 9, 2019 Looks like it's the same as on the Bliss. This bed is surely wider than a Queen, not sure about being a full King size though...
swanhaven Posted November 9, 2019 Author #10 Share Posted November 9, 2019 (edited) Thanks all - heck, I'll be on a cruise so I'll be happy - and with all your information I have one less thing to take into account when picking a room. Thanks again 🙂 Edited November 9, 2019 by swanhaven
