Sascol Posted November 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2019 So we’re on Edge now. Love it. One thing we question though is the ceiling/roof of the magic carpet. It is constructed of a screen or mesh type material so if it is raining the magic carpet is not usable. Perhaps this has been discussed previously but we wonder why the roof was not made of a solid material to keep the rain out. Maybe this will change on Apex (which we just booked for next year yesterday!).

It would need to be capable of full enclosure. This might defeat its purpose as a tender platform.

Just a shower, no, it would stay dry like being on your front porch at home for example.
Fouremco Posted November 11, 2019 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2019 I suspect that the mesh roof was designed to allow air to pass through it. In bad weather, a solid roof might pose problems if strong winds were blowing. That could be overcome with the proper engineering, but probably with a significant increase in weight that the lift mechanism might not handle.
TeeRick Posted November 12, 2019 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2019 I would probably just use another bar in inclement weather.
