Visa Requirements

Fullest details will be on the websites of your own govt. and the govts of the countries involved.

But don't include "visa" in your google search because it will be over-loaded with paid entries of visa agents with websites that look and sound like official govt sites, & you can end up paying over the odds for an unnecessary service.

If you use the word "visa" the govt website is likely to be on about the 6th or 7th page  :classic_rolleyes:

Also bear in mind that even official websites don't always mention dispensations for cruisers.

From experience (Brit passport-holder but I think this applies to passengers of all nationalities)

For Egypt, immigration officers boarded at an earlier port, checked passports and stamped them.

IIRC the same applies to Jordan (a stick-in stamp rather than a rubber stamp).

Don't be surprised if the ship takes & holds your passport - it facilitates quick & easy formalities and avoids a delay a the gangway. IF YOU NEED your passport at any port you can just ask for it at Guest Relations - they'll hand it over and ask you to return it when you return. We needed ours at Aqaba to cross into Israel for the day (long story short, we didn't go into Israel cos the border was too complicated).

For those ports, nothing you need to do in advance. The cost (not drastic) added to your on-board account.

Sorry, can't help with Oman.
