We just got off the CB.  There are no USB ports in the room.  There are a couple AC receptacles one in the bathroom and one on the desk by the hairdryer.  Depending on you room, you may be able to reach the ac port located behind the TV.  We were able to plug a USB charger hub in there.

I bring a Y cable so that I can plug in both my clock radio and USB chsrger into the single outlet.  I have the USB Charger RAVPower 60W 12A 6-Port Desktop USB Charging Station that I purchased from Amazon to charge the many battery devices I have on the ship.  It works great.

What did you have plugged into the outlet above in the head? I usually try to plug a night light in there, but even if the outlet works for that, it turns off when the room's light is turned off at the switch. I'm guessing that might be an electric razor above?

It was our electric toothbrush holder.  We take turns using it to charge our toothbrushes.

Ah HA! The mystery is solved. So many thing will not work plugged into that outlet, and of course that head outlet is only "hot" when the light is turned on anyway. But anywhere we can find a plug that's hot, even if only sometime, is welcome for most of us. Some of us, like myself and probably you too, have cruised enough to be familiar with the derth of electrical plugs, but new cruisers might not be.
