Will dock at havensight. If you do a search of ship schedule St Thomas it comes up west indies company which is havensight. I don't think much will be going on as we are the only ship at that dock plus it's a Sunday. The only other scheduled ship is the Summit and they are at crown bay.

Havensight website says some stores open sundays if ships are in port. Not so sure with us being only 200 pax. There is a local farmers market at yacht haven which is very close.  Different subject,  the 14th in San Juan they are having their lighted boat parade. Star Legend should have  "front row"  seats!!

Just did this cruise last month.  Most of the shopping is open.  The "old" shopping area in town is being nicely refurbished.  It will be open and there is also a market (full of crafts and knockoffs) over there.  It's not an easy walk because of construction, so unless you need to get in a workout, grab a taxi for $5 pp.  Better option is to go to a beach, we like sapphire.  The sky ride is also very close to where you will dock and will most likely be open.

We are on the Legend for our B2B starting on the 14th. Thanks for the info on St Thomas. We are not too excited about this substitute port, but will make the best of it.  Maybe a water taxi to a great beach. But the boat parade in San Juan sounds great! We are missing the Portland Maine annual boat parade of lights so this will certainly make up for it! Hope to see you on board!
