Viking transfer Rome to Port?

I know Viking offers transfers from FCO to the Port of Rome on embarkation day, but what about transfers from central Rome to the port?  We always fly to Europe at least a few days prior to embarkation and wonder whether Viking offers transfers for those who do.  Any advice would be appreciated...thanks.

No. Only from the airport and only on embarkation day.  There is train service to the port and then a cab from the station (tell the cabbie which ship you are going to and not the name of the terminal written in the cruise doc; that information can change). Or there are private car services.

Thank you...I kind of expected that...

We've embarked in Civitavecchia many time so we know the drill.  With the state of air travel being what it is I can't imagine flying in on embarkation day.  Also we need to spend a few days in Rome so we can enjoy our favorite restaurants.
