Very specific question.. in the past 2 years since Carnival has had check in literally at the baggage claim..

Can I check in there as usual, and then instead of using their bus.. jump into a Lyft ride to the Miami Port..and walk on, just like you do when you take their bus...

from Ft Lauderdale Carnival wants $30 pp to and $30 back pp.. Lyft is roughly $40-$50 one way for two...I see the lines of all the people who came in the night before... and are sitting outside the terminal..waiting... its crazy..  tks

Carnival has check-in at the Fort Lauderdale baggage claim?  Never heard that before.  Which terminal?

Why not just skip any of that and Lyft to the port?  Check-in at the port takes all of 1 minute nowadays anyways.
