Zip lining

Any recommendations for a zip line tour in Grand Cayman?

There is no ziplining in Cayman.  It’s a very flat island.  There are no hills or mountains, unless you count Mt Trashmore (the garbage dump).

Thank you--any recommendations of things to do not in the water?  We are going in February and the water will be too cold for us.  Not much offered by way of sponsored excursions

Water and beach activities are the most common ones.  Stingray City is the most  visited attraction.

Others include:

- island tours to see the scenery and some sites

- segway tours

- the turtle farm wildlife encounters

- dolphin encounters (in the water but not out in the ocean like Stingray City)

- hell

- car museum

- small museum downtown

- shopping (higher end stuff, not crafts)

- Pedro St James historic site

- botanical gardens

- Crystal Caves tours

- horseback riding on the beach

 

That’s about all I can think of off the top of my head.

If 80 degree water is too cold for you, then bookbabe's recommendations are going to be the best.  I would also go to Camana Bay for gelato from Gelato and Co by the water fountains - really good gelato made with local ingredients.
